I've decided to gallivant around today pictures to come of my discoveries.

A Character

As I look up into the sky, I begin to count the people who have come and gone in many ways. An overwhelming need to reach out an arm, a hand for them to take, to stay, and keep me company. There is a history now growing up, dates that are memorized; tattooed across my eyes. It is a funny feeling, looking back at the conversations, playing out over and over a little different each time. A right step here or a shuffle to the left could have changed many outcomes but life goes in the direction it wants and we seemingly don't have a say. A constant teasing, punishment, joy, and laughter all seem to be wrapped in one as I play back my role. What a character I am, I say out loud. The sky is so big and has seen so much, but I've had enough dreams for the night.

You're Young and in Your 20s... live life!

They say this is the hardest time of your life.  In your 20s there are so many opportunities and directions to go. Any step left or right feels like it could determine the rest of your life... oh wait it can. All the encounters we make throughout this time are important and create results good and bad. It is important to keep an open mind and be positive. We have to hold ourselves accountable for being a positive presence in each others lives. It is the first time when the next few years are our choice right after high school/college what have you. Where if you want to go be a cow girl in the middle of Chile then go! You go girl! you want to be a scuba instructor in Bali? hell why not?

But this can be misleading, it is not always attainable and thus comes that sinking feeling of negativity, a sinkhole of discouragement resulting in a fading dream of invincibility. For example, you're applying to a million different jobs and you're just not hearing back, oh wait, no one is! well then how is this generation supposed to live all the dreams they said they could have when no one will answer? Just something I've been contemplating lately. But it is in no way an excuse not to pursue your dreams and just go for it. Life gives you lemons ..... (you finish it).

I find myself getting lost in the various images on Pinterest that bring to life hidden dreams and new ideas. Pinterest is a space to be creative and brainstorm, nothing is out of reach. Be Inspired.
